At only 80 Seconds we don’t get to see much in this trailer, but what is certain is that the budget appears to be a lot bigger with the visuals of the film looking better and a much larger cast of established characters to fight, rather than the hundreds of faceless hoards in the first one. We get to see a few in the teaser, such as Iko Uwais‘, a cop/ass kicker and survivor of the first film, who is locked in a prison cell and takes his aggression out on a chalk outline on his wall, as he thinks about what lies before him.
With a third film one also in the pipeline to complete the trilogy, this should well and truly whet the appetite of anyone who enjoyed the first one, or any fan of the action genre as a whole.
The film hits screens in the UK in March of next year and the teaser is below
