The first teaser poster for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has been released, confirming the title that, until now, had remained uncertain. A Dame To Kill For is based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller and this sequel will be made up of a set of stories taken from existing Miller comics with the addition of some new material. These stories will be shown in the original exaggerated black and white seen in the previous film and will also feature a handful of prominent figures from the previous cast including Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and Bruce Willis.
The story of the film will take place prior to “The Big Fat Kill”, featured in Miller’s original Sin City film, and will show the plight of protagonist Dwight as his lover Ava Lord hunts him down. What is perhaps most exciting about this sequel is that it will combine stories that remain true to Miller’s original comics whilst also adding in new stories to bring an element of surprise with new twists and turns to look forward to. Sin City A Dame To Kill For is due in cinemas August 22nd 2014.
