Director and writer J.J. Abrams has spoken from the set of Star Wars: Episode VII in a video which gives us a first glimpse at the film’s special effects.
In this video we see the very first creature on a Star Wars: Episode VII set, which is just a bit exciting. He’s even carrying several other new aliens on his back.
The video aims to support UNICEF’s Innovation Labs and Programs with getting all the fans involved. Director Abrams gives Star Wars fans both a first glimpse at the Episode VII shoot and the best opportunity ever to appear in the upcoming film!
Everybody got really excited about the first glimpse of an alien. It’s a yet unknown but impressive creation, the movement is so realistic it’s hard to tell if it’s a puppet or CGI or, most probably, a mixture.
He looks like a cross between Yoda and a Tauntaun with a bit of Labyrinth thrown in for good measure, and we wonder if those are his kids he’s carrying round, or just pets. Either way, this video got fans even more excited about the upcoming teasers and pictures and of course the film itself when it comes out on 18 of December, 2015.
