First Official “The Tomb” Still Released!

Attention Expendables fans! Check out the first official still of The Tomb right here!

During a period in history where it seems more and more celebrities of the past are being dragged from old peoples homes across the land for yet another nostalgic reunion of torture. It’s great to see former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger coming to our aid during this difficult time with a great return to form.

After teaming up with Sylvester Stallone for the Expendables 2, a film drenched with the sweet aroma of testosterone, the pair have re-united for their latest effort The Tomb as is shown in the first official still released so far we have included. For those of you who didn’t see our piece on the forthcoming movie earlier in the year, the plot is short and simple. Stallone’s character (Ray Breslin) is serving a lengthy prison sentence for a crime he didn’t commit (naturally) in a futuristic, supposedly escape proof jail. However, where it starts to get interesting is that Stallone is in fact the architect of the very building he is incarcerated in, so surely if anyone could break out it would be him? Whilst devising his escape Breslin meets fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Arnold-Schwarzenegger) who also wants out, and a journey of action and suspense duly ensues.

True to form Sly and Arnie equip themselves with a flamboyant cast including Curtis Jackson – known to many as 50 cent – Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan, Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jim Caviezel.

Those who are as uncontrollably excited about this one as I am will just have to wait  as there is currently no set release date and we are reliably informed that we can not expect to see anything until 2013.
