Angelina Jolie is an insanely busy woman. Director and writer of In The Land of Blood and Honey, parent to an ever growing myriad of children and now, evil sorceress Maleficent.
Disney’s Maleficent, is scheduled for a 2014 release date and acts as a live action prequel to the story of Sleeping Beauty. Told through the eyes of Maleficent herself, the film will chronicle the story leading up to Maleficent’s turn against the kingdom and what leads her to curse Aurora. Elle Fanning (Super 8) is set to star as Princess Aurora. While it is still a Disney movie, this first look at Jolie’s Maleficent is pretty dark and dare I say, almost vampyric.
