Ewan McGregor has been working overtime over at Hollywood as of late. What with his tsunami drama The Impossible being released January 2nd, Bryan Singer’s Jack the Giant Killer being released March 22nd and August: Osage County; we wonder how the star has time to have a shower let alone adding another film to the list! But McGregor has teamed up with Aussie director Julius Avery for his latest crime thriller Son Of A Gun.
Not much is known about the narrative of the piece but Avery, who wrote the script too, has sold the film as a thriller, which sees an Australian criminal start up a complicated relationship with one of his protégés. If everything goes to plan then the director will start shooting with McGregor early next year in Perth and Kalgoorlie.
