Source: Beauty and the BeastReports have emerged that Disney are planning to adapt one of the most popular fairy tales and one of its most successful animated feature lengths, Beauty and the Beast, into a live-action movie.
The reports claim that Bill Condon, who is probably most famous for directing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, will man the helm on the Beauty and the Beast adaptation with the script to be written by Evan Spiliotopoulos.
Details are scarce at this point but the film follows a pattern of classics being adapted in live-action form with a live-action version of Cinderella arriving in March 2015 followed by The Jungle Book in October.
