Channing Tatum has been confirmed to star in future X-Men films as Gambit, a mutant thief that has the ability create, control and manipulate kinetic energy. However, it is not certain in which film Gambit will make his first appearance.
Reports say that Gambit is expected to be a part of X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016, as well as, the main candidate for future X-Men character spin-off films.
After many months of rumours surrounding Tatum’s involvement with the franchise, Total Film managed to confirm with producer Laura Shuler Donner at the X-Men: Days Of Future Past premiere. Shuler Donner simply stated “It’s Channing.”
