Lew Frankfort – previous CEO of American brand Coach – is thrilled at the news his successor at the company will be Victor Luis. “This is an exciting day for Coach” Frankfort told Women’s Wear Daily. “It’s a result of a several-year succession process, which has led us to Victor Luis. I couldn’t be happier with the appointment. I’m looking forward to being tied at the hip with Victor during this transition process“
Luis, who is the former CEO of luxury French brand Baccarat Inc., has served as a member of Coach‘s leadership team for seven years prior to his new CEO status, and so is the perfect fit for this role. The move ties in with the news that the US label plans to relaunch itself as a lifestyle brand, which is bound to excite their consumers and attract even more celebrity fans, with the likes of Alicia Keys, Kristen Bell and Taylor Swift already spotted with Coach items.
