Topshop have really hit the bullseye this time for an exciting collaboration with swimwear brand Pistol Panties.
Taking inspiration from the Copacabana girls of the 1940’s, the collection brings South American style to our shores for some infectious jungle fever. An eclectic mix of naturalistic prints, bold colour and quirky style, the London based brand keeps getting hotter and hotter.
Part Columbian designer and founder of Pistol Panties, Deborah Fleming proves you can take the girl out of the jungle, but you can’t take the jungle out of the girl, as her bold patterns and vivid colour shows.
Having featured twice in the pages of Sports Illustrated and splashed across a huge billboard in Times Square last year, the brand is set for big things. “I went a little more over-the-top with the designs and the fabric embellishments than I usually do with my main collection, which has become more fine-tuned over the seasons. But, essentially, the fits and shapes and the signature are very similar” they said.
The Farah swimsuit above (£75.00) is a show stopper, not only on the beach, but teamed with denim cutoffs makes a fiery fashion steal for relaxed summer evenings on the sand. Bold, daring and different, the designs need no introduction.
