Prada has only gone and scored three of Hollywood’s leading actors to model in its latest menswear campaign – Skyfall’s Ben Whishaw, star of Django Unchained Christoph Waltz and Ezra Miller who rocketed to fame in Perks of Being a Wallflower. The label is said to have selected each actor due to their “individual points of view and style”. Oooh la la!
Starring in Prada’s autumn/winter 2013-14 campaign, the trio were described as being “protagonists in a drama of wit and enigma”. Known for their use of celebrity faces in its menswear campaign, the Hollywood cast is nothing new for the Italian fashion house – with the likes of Benicio Del Toro, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Harvey Keitel having starred in the previous spring offering.
“Each actor plays a distinct role, creating a trio of characters who bring their individual points of view and style to the collection. Christoph Waltz’s character evokes a studied sense of elegance, Ben Whishaw presents an alternative carefree charm and Erza Miller brings a youthful air of mystery.” said the brand.
