H&M is one of the few mid stream retailers that have quality yet fashionable on trend clothes and lets admit it, how many mid stream retail stores can you say have done collaborations with such fascinating designers such as Isabel Marant and Versace and still keep the prices affordable?
They are also one of the few who are taking a stand regarding unfair manufacturing practices to improve the lives of their factory workers. Since the majority of manufacturing of retailers like H&M are created in factories in Bangladesh, they have chosen to try and improve those conditions by those working for them in those factories.
The company has not yet disclosed how they yet are going to design the better conditions, but we as consumers of their clothing could see a price increase to help off set those costs. By increasing a a bit would not hurt us as consumers, as long as we know we are buying clothing that is made with fair practices.
