Penelope Cruz has directed a lingerie clad film to celebrate the launch of her new Agent Provocateur, L’Agent line. The film is the actress’ directorial debut and stars her husband Javier Bardem, model Irina Shayk and sister, Mónica Cruz.
Shot in the sister’s hometown of Madrid, the short campaign really is a family affair with their brother Eduardo Cruz, composing the soundtrack.
Cruz told WWD: “[It was] very personal and important for me, a very interesting experience. They gave me all the freedom and I was able to tell the story I wanted to tell. I used women of all shapes and sizes, as it was important for me to let women know that this brand is for everyone. I chose Irina, as she is such a vivacious woman, and with all the beautiful women in the campaign, I really needed someone who would keep the audience’s attention.”
The L’Agent collection will be unveiled on Thursday.
