Just in time with celebrating LGBT Pride Month, Opening Ceremony have partnered up with iconic manga artist Jiraiya and gay manga inspired streetwear brand MASSIVE to create a capsule collection titled MASSIVE For Opening Ceremony.
Jiraiya is massively popular within the Japanese gay community for his ‘photorealistic illustrations of gachimuchi,’ which are drawn free hand. Since debuting his work in 1998 for Japanese gay magazine, G-Men, Jiraiya has developed a real name for himself with his manga and artwork.
Opening Ceremony will also be working with MASSIVE who have previous connections with Jiraiya having featured his artwork on their gay inspired line of apparel. This capsule collection will feature Jiraiya’s original male pin-up art printed on t-shirts, muscle shirts, rugby shorts and a beach towel. Everything will be available in a large array of sizes varying from $55.20 – $92.00.
