Getting engaged at Thanksgiving to her long-term boyfriend and having an incredible modelling career, Lindsay Ellingson must feel on top of the world!
Having walked in every Victoria’s Secret show since 2007, the Californian beauty has made a serious modelling career for herself… but not just as an Angel. Ellingson has appeared on catwalks for big names including Chanel, Christian Dior and Dolce & Gabbana.
Lindsay’s career really kick-started in 2004 as while studying for a Biology degree at the University of San Diego, she was spotted and almost immediately travelled to the fashion capital. It was in Paris that she met Mr Eccentric himself, John Galliano and made her catwalk debut opening his S/S05 show. She went on to open for Lanvin and Christian Dior later that week, but she remained a strong favourite for Galliano as she walked in his 10th Anniversary Couture Show for Christian Dior in 2007. It was there that the newcomer rubbed shoulders with model royalty, Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bundchen!
In 2008, Ellingson took her career a step further and landed her debut editorial with British Vogue which lead to being desired for numerous big name advertising campaigns over the years. These have included Dolce & Gabbana, MAC, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach & DKNY… alongside landing a few cheeky Vogue covers. What could Lindsay possibly do next?! We can’t wait to see what dream campaigns she will land.
