Kathryn Lucy London is an up and coming print and womenswear designer based in London. Having recently graduated from Ravensbourne University, the designer launched her first collection titled Kat Got Your Tongue, shot by photographer Rebecca Need-Menear, on June 1st and is currently working with stylists, artists and other editorial magazines who will all be featuring her work.
The collection Kat Got Your Tongue is playful and fun take on streetwear. Channeling the quirky Jeremy Scott vibe, the designer opts for print clashes, light up rabbit backpacks (festival fashion must have) and glittered sports fabrication.
The collection adequately combines texture and prints, with painterly florals, caveman style illustrations of genetically mutated animals, and then latex flower embellished rain mac, printed flower neoprene jacket and glitter filled plastic sports luxe shorts – perfect for a night out on the town.
