Brian Lichtenberg, the face behind the copycat ‘Homies’ jumpers – and master-thief of logos – has been trapped in his own game by non other than his brother and fellow collaborator, Christopher Lichtenberg.
A $100 million lawsuit was filed by Brian, who claims Christopher stole his ‘Ballin” motif (a play on the Balmain logo), for his own clothing line, Alice & Chloe. Brian’s report against Christopher cites the reported theft to “alcoholism, depression and various other psychological disorders”.
Spokespeople for Christopher have denied the allegations and issued the statement; “As we have always stated, the Ballin and Ballin Paris design is an Original design made by and for Alex & Chloe. The [designs were] not designed by Brian Lichtenberg. Accept no imitations.” Ah, brotherly love.
