Converse tackle the epic battle between shoes and sneakers in their latest campaign.
Lets be fair, shoes generally don’t equate to the most fun memories do they? All I remember of shoes is wearing them for school, wearing them for weddings (most of which are usually rubbish), when going to a interview for some horrible job and having to wear them to get into some pretentious clubs which have normally been absolute trash. My sneakers on the other hand are a whole different board game; partying with friends, crowd surfing at gigs, walking to the skate park, crazy road trips, falling in love and generally just loving life. It’s strange to think just a change of footwear could have such different memories but it’s clear it has more impact that I once thought. Sneakers all the way!
So the question is, are you a ‘shoe’ or a ‘sneaker’ person?
If you said ‘Shoe’ then I think Converse put it best – ‘Shoes Are Boring. Wear Sneakers’.
