Supermodel Christy Turlington has stormed the modelling world once again, but at 44, is she too old to be laying around in her underwear?
Hell no! Christy looks sensational as she poses as the face of Calvin Klein‘s new underwear range and she still looks as incredible as she did 25 years ago. She even pushed out Lara Stone for this role… good going girl!
The new shots for CK by Mario Sorrenti remind us all of Turlington‘s taut physique and 5ft 10inch frame, and why she was one of the best models in the 90s, with Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Elle Macpherson sniffing at her heels.
We’re all envious at Christy‘s undeniable ability to say ‘no!’ to Mother Nature and defy the aging process. But it seems, she is not immortal afterall. Her secret is that she has practiced yoga for the last 20 years, and it sure has paid off.. and then some!
But modelling isn’t all C-Turls is about. She’s a mother of 2, married and has worked for the humanitarian group, Care, as an ambassador for maternal health. She admitted in 2010 to the Telegraph that she found it more life-fulfilling than her worldwide modelling career.
Christy told the Telegraph, “It [modelling] was a fun opportunity that allowed me to see the world but spiritually and intellectually there is nothing rewarding about that profession at all.”
There was obviously something that drew Christy back, and whatever it is we’re glad to see her grabbing this opportunity with both hands. But what do you think? Should she be flaunting her stuff, or are you still in shock at her am-az-ing body?
