There’s no need to be embarrassed about running to the sale section of your dream designer store in search of a miracle. Well not anymore thanks to our beloved department store Target.
Providing for us since we were in diapers with little cartoon images that upheld our fashion dignity till our conscious ( that we sometimes can’t afford ) grew, Target has always come to the rescue. For 11 years it has been collaborating with designs from A, Alexander McQueen to Z, Zac Posen. This month the Target shoppers were lucky enough to lay their hands on 3.1 Phillip Lim, that’s if they were fast enough.
A day after their debut 3.1 bags sold out online. The designer’s modern take on classics were priced at a less then $300 for clothing and $60 for accessories. Target and participating designers made it acceptable to shop for items that maybe missing a few zeros on the price tag, God bless their souls. Stock was flying of the shelves both physically and virtually, making it hard it keep up with demand. But don’t be disappointed for those of you who got the email nullifying your online purchase, Target will compensate you with a $100 gift card. That’s sure to keep you content.
