This year, Calvin Klein’s creative director, Italo Zucchelli displayed a military based theme in their collection. Now while older customers of the Klein brand will appreciate this, Zucchelli tries to introduce a younger, cooler customer to the brand.
Guests at the show were each welcomed with a bottle of Obsession, the designer’s own fragrance, which was hinting at what was to be expected in the collection.
The military style comes in with the army colour pallete and the heavy looking boots. They did however, bring in some of the classics, like the fine suits and the double breasted overcoats.
The pieces that really stood out were the embroidered slogan sweatshirts with the names of the brands biggest fragrances; Eternity, Obsession and Escape. This is where you see the Zucchelli catching the eye of the younger customers.
