It seems like everyday we hear about yet another Photoshop scandal. We’ve seen people with chunks missing from their legs and torsos, celebrities clothes change colour and women with impossibly smooth skin.

American clothing retailer Ann Taylor LOFT are the latest company to be accused of using Photoshop to slim down their models. To make the situation worse worse, they have done it badly and disfigured the models’ body.

The model for a swimsuit shoot seems to have a section of her waist missing, which is noticeable because the waist and the hip lines do not match up. Although a section is covered by an arm, you can see that there is a big difference between where her waist is and then where her hip starts. It is the error that has seen many people’s Photoshop efforts fall flat on their face.

If you’re going to use Photoshop then perhaps it would be a good idea to remember what a normal human body looks like. Or to save the bother just don’t try and slim these women down anyway, we’re sure they don’t need it! See more Photoshop fails here.
