Who would have thought technology would come such a long way in such a short amount of time. I remember as a kid watching TVs and the things weighed a ton and were the size of treasure chest. That or they were tiny boxes that would never tune in and you would watch everything with speckles like you’d just taken a blow to the head. Those were the days you actually had to stand up to change the channel (when there was only 4!), had to change the volume with a dial and playing Bamboozle on Teletext was like the most tech thing ever. Crazy days! Shoot forward 30 years later and the difference is mind blowing. Screens so thin you can grab them between your thumb and index finger, displays so clear you may as well be in the TV (the new Sony 4K TVs take HD to another level! Four times the detail of normal HD!), sound that will blow your head off and now you can even be video chatting with your mates while watching the football! I swear in another 30 years no one will ever leave the house! If the Sony 4K TVs are where we are at now who knows what the future will hold.
