When it comes to social media, Taylor Swift isn’t one to shy away from making her opinions heard – particularly when she’s the target of a sexist headline.
After the singer helped a couple announce their pregnancy by holding a sign that read ‘Baby’s first concert’, OK! Magazine twisted the good deed in attempt to create click bait.
Now deleted, the publication tweeted: “Singer @taylorswift13 has made a ‘pregnancy announcement’!”, implying that the 25-year-old was the one expecting.
In addition to the misleading title, the article itself also caused a stir, referring to the Grammy winner as ‘Harry Styles’ ex girlfriend’ and ‘Calvin Harris’ rumored girlfriend.’
Swift shot back at the magazine and said: “This misleading headline and your choice of words in labeling me are why we need feminism in 2015.” You go, girl!
