“So many of my friends and family are impossible to buy for, and I knew I couldn’t be the only one feeling this way, so I figured it was time to fix the problem,” she says.
‘Digital nomad’ Louise single-handedly founded and set up a gift list website, ImpossibleToBuyFor.com, which recommends the best presents on Amazon to help people who’ve completely run out of ideas – or perhaps just need a little inspiration – to get them to the end of what sometimes feels like the most stressful part of the festive period: Christmas shopping.
To help her in her quest to find a wide range of unique gifts perfect for the people who seem to have just about everything, #femaleboss Louise crowd-sourced suggestions using her fashion blogging experience, asking fellow bloggers, as well as a larger audience, to share their ideal Christmas pressie wish list. The lists were curated and, from there, Impossible To Buy For was born.
The website not only offers over 300 fun and quirky products to suit all needs, but it also filters according to personalities – such as ‘foodies’ and ‘tech heads’ – giving inspiration based on interests instead of just price or gender.
