Eska – Eska
Perhaps one of most underrated nominees is Zimbabwe-born Eska. Combining elements of folk, soul, electronica and psychedelia, the singer released her eponymous album in April. It features her single Shades of Blue, and although the song’s video has a mere 24,000 Youtube hits, her quirky, uplifting music rightfully earned its place on the nominee list this year.
