Long before the first time someone came down with a bad dose of ‘cat-scratch-fever’, there have been metal animals inspiring albums, lyrics and band names in the rock and metal world. So we here at HTF thought long and hard(ish) about what ten creatures could constitute the most metal menagerie.
1. Bats

Whether it’s their leathery wings, beady eyes or furry bodies, they are the stuff of nightmares for many. The fact that some of them literally suck blood and they can carry and spread rabies doesn’t do them any favors.
