When it comes to crazy ways in which a new artist is discovered, Honor probably has one of the coolest stories we have heard in a while.
A YouTuber by the name of LukeIsNotSexy was taking a train in London one day when he stumbled upon a lost memory stick. Upon checking it’s contents, it appeared to contain a number of music files and photos. In true YouTuber fashion, he then created a video to tell his story and then set out on a mission to get his 500,000 strong subscriber base to track down this mystery girl using the evidence he found on the USB. The hashtag #NameTheGirl soon started trending on Twitter and the power of social media bought the campaign to the attention of a friend of Honor and the mystery was solved!
Source: Honor / FacebookHonor then took control of the main #NameThatGirl Facebook to create her own music page, HonorMakesMusic, and with all this attention it wasn’t long before the music industry started to take an interest.
Honor was then approached by Spaceship Managament, who have previous worked with Benny Benassi, The Bloody Beetroots, Crookers and Alex Gaudino, who then signed her up and they started work on her debut single ‘Never Off’. What a whirlwind ride, right?

So jumping to today, Honor has now released her debut single ‘Never Off’, along with a music video (above), and is giving it all away for free as thanks to everyone for helping her get signed.
