Take This To Your Grave // 2003
Arguably one of the most iconic debut albums of the pop punk scene, Take This To Your Grave was released in May of 2003 and laid the foundations for the band we know and love today. Spilling over with vigorous energy and jammed packed with those clever, witty lyrics which have been a defining feature throughout their career, the album is utterly infectious. The first four tracks really own the album, beginning with the opening phone dial and followed by the three singles; ‘Dead On Arrival’, ‘Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy’ and ‘Saturday’. Sure, some of the tracks are the kind you forget about until you hear them again, but when you do it’s a swift reminder just how great the album is as a whole.
