Monday 1st April – Sunday 7th April
This bitter weather doesn’t seem to be leaving us any time soon! But luckily for you us lot at Hit The Floor have managed to put together seven spring outfits, which will still keep you warm, in this week’s Fashion Forecast:
Monday 1st April
With highs of only 6 degrees on bank holiday Monday our advice is to wrap up warm! But, despite the cold weather, you can still channel those spring vibes with this Slub Maxi Dress from Uniqlo. Priced at approximately £20.00 the maxi dress is an absolute steal – and if green isn’t your colour it’s also available to buy in yellow, brown and grey. Keep snug by teaming the dress up with a faux fur coat. We found this very stylish leopard print number from Lipsy priced a £45.00. If your feeling brave opt for summertime wedges – like these to die for Jeffrey Campbells! As for accessories, wear a chunky gold cuff, large gold chain and tan leather bag to complete the look.
Tuesday 2nd April
Expect sunny spells and highs of 7 degrees on Tuesday. We’ve matched this statement As If Wildfox jumper up with a pair of Vintage Heather 550 Jeans from Yayer. The jeans are high waisted and the perfect way to channel the S/S 90’s trend. Since the weather has improved slightly, you can add a little detail to your outfit by wearing a pair of circle shaped sunnies and Vivienne Westwood accessories.
Wednesday 3rd April
The bad weather is making a dramatic return on Wednesday with expected rain and highs of 6 degrees. Every girl needs a basic white tee! We’ve teamed this Topshop one up with a pair of River Island denim wash dungarees – priced at a very affordable £30.00. To stay warm, layer up with a pair of opaque tights and a stylish pair of white Dr Martens. Finally, go all Rihanna and wear a wooly beanie hat to complete the grunge ensemble.

Thursday 4th April
With the rainy weather said to continue on Thursday you can wrap up warm in this black faux fur coat. Undergo a must have monochrome make-over by wearing the coat with this Kim Kardashian style black and white striped maxi dress. Opt for statement accessories to really pull of this look. We love this faux Chanel beanie hat and pair of killer Jeffery Campbell Tardy boots – priced at £50.00.
Friday night is party night! Who cares about the dull 6 degree weather when you can head to your favourite club and dance the night away! We love this Gold Shimmer Dress from River Island. You can give the dress a rock and roll edge to the dress by wearing it with a killer leather jacket. To really emphasis the colour try wearing gold accessories like this gold chain necklace from eBay, priced at £11.95 you can’t go wrong, and a black clutch bag with gold studding.
Saturday 6th April
Finally some good weather! Saturday brings us sunny spells with highs of 7, so why not flaunt those bare pins by wearing this floral skater skirt. Believe it or not the skirt is from Primark and we reckon it’s a must have this season. Taking inspiration from Rita Ora, you can wear it with a BOY London crop top and wet look leather jacket to really turn heads. Gold jewellery is once again a massive must! You can layer up on arm candy with this pack of gorgeous River Island charm bangles – priced at £13.00. As for shoes these Black Studded Flatforms, also from River Island, are sure to complete the look.
Sunday 7th April
Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs of 8 degrees. So why not opt for a day of shopping in these Acid Print Leaf Trousers? The grey cigarette style trousers feature a dramatic print of neon green leaves and peach flowers. Team the trousers up with this leather bralet from Missguided – priced at £19.99. An oversized hobo bag and masculine boots finish off the outfit giving it a Sunday tomboy edge.
