Monday 3rd June – Sunday 9th June
We will finally see some good weather this week! To celebrate, the fashion team at Hit The Floor have prepared a Fashion Forecast consisting of some summer clothes with the aim to give you some ideas about what you can wear according to this week’s weather forecast.
Monday 3rd June
The weather on Monday will consist of sun and clouds, with highs of 19 degrees. A maxi dress is perfect for this kind of weather. Retailing at £32.50, we have teamed this black jersey maxi dress from A Wear with a Benetton beige jumper, available from Zalando. For accessories, we chose a gold New Look statement chain necklace from ASOS, and then finished off the look with a pair of simple sandals from Accessorize. These gold-toned sandals will go perfectly well with each summer outfit, and are being sold for only £19.00.
Tuesday 4th June
Unfortunately, the sun will disappear on Tuesday. However, with highs of 19 degrees, the temperature will still be somewhat warm. For Tuesday’s outfit, we decided to blend in with the weather by wearing a grey lace bodice dress from Miss Selfridge. Retailing at £39.00, this dress has a bow detail on it’s back, which gives it a more fun look. We decided to pair this dress with a pair of cute grey sandals from Yoox.
Wednesday 5th June
The temperature will go up a little on Wednesday, and the sun will make an appearance once again. We are fully embracing the monochrome trend this season, so we have opted for a loose black and white t-shirt dress from Choies. To continue with the monochrome theme and give the outfit a sophisticated look, we paired the t-shirt with these heeled sandals from Zara. And don’t forget to have your sunglasses handy for those sunny moments!
With highs of 21 degrees and periods of sun and clouds, Thursday’s outfit is quite casual and relaxed. To achieve this look, simply put on your favourite pair of black skinny jeans and pair them with a striped crop top. In our case, we chose this long-sleeved black and white striped top from River Island, which is being sold for £10.00 down from £20.00. A satchel bag, such as this Cambridge satchel from ASOS, goes perfectly well with this look. Finish off the outfit with a pair of comfortable trainers. Our choice is a pair of black Vans.
Friday 7th June
With clouds in the morning and sun in the afternoon, the temperature will be around 20 degrees on Friday. This outfit is inspired by the grunge trend, so we have teamed a simple black mini dress with thigh-high socks and black Mary Jane pumps from New Look. Being both comfortable and versatile, these cute pumps can be paired with any outfit. For a fun twist to this outfit, we opted to accessorise with these gold smile shades from Nasty Gal.
Saturday 8th June
For our favourite day of the week, we will be wearing our current favourite piece of clothing – a dungaree. This black dungaree is from SheLikes, and retails for only £25.00. Since the sun will make an appearance, team it with a white crop top, such as this one from Fashion Union, and finish off the look with these statement sandals from Miista. Having a colour-graded platform, you will surely get some ladies jealous!
Sunday 9th June
Sunday Funday, they say! We therefore opted for a fun outfit for this partly cloudy day. Whether you’ll be spending your Sunday with friends, family, or on your own, denim shorts are always the answer. We have teamed this black pair with a pricey white graphic tee from Moda Operandi and a fluffy cardigan from Miss Selfridge. For the shoes, we chose a classic pair of Dr. Martens since they go really well with this outfit. Retailing at £100.00, these are available from Motel Rocks.
