Can’t decide on what type of outfits you should wear this week? The fashion team at Hit The Floor have put together some outfits to give you an idea of what you can wear according to this week’s weather forecast.
Monday 15th April
Expect a cloudy day on Monday, but with highs of 15 degrees, we can afford to wear a sleeveless t-shirt and layering with a cardigan. We are loving this black and white tribal pattern trousers from River Island, and reckon it would be perfect for Monday. We have teamed it up with an edgy plain black tee and finished off the outfit with a pair of leather cut-out boots from Topshop.
Tuesday 16th April
The temperature will go slightly down on Tuesday, and showers are forecasted in the morning hours. A pair of waterproof boots, such as these leather chelsea boots from Topshop, are therefore a must. And how pretty is this grey dress from Object Collectors Item? Retailing at £32.51, this dress flatters every body type due to its elasticated waist. To complete the outfit, wear black opaque tights and a black leather jacket.
Wednesday 17th April
It is reported that Wednesday will be cloudy too, and with a chance of morning showers. We have topped up a somewhat classic monochrome outfit with a rainbow coloured knitted jumper (available at Topshop) to brighten up the day. With highs of 14 degrees, you can even wear the jumper without the white blouse underneath. In keeping with the classic theme of the outfit, we accessorised with the current must-have bag – the Zara Office City bag.
Thursday 18th April
We still can’t get over tartan, so we decided to incorporate a red tartan scarf in Thursday’s outfit! We have simply teamed a pair Topshop‘s Joni Jeans with a grey dropped back hem sweater. Since there will be some scattered showers during the day, we resorted to these black cut-out boots from River Island. Retailing at £65.00, these are must-haves if you’re keen on the grunge trend.
Friday 19th April
There will be some clouds on Friday, with highs of 13 degrees. We combined this outfit around Topshop‘s Joni Jeans too, since they are our favourite jeans at the moment. We have teamed the jeans with a black and white striped turtle neck top from Miss Selfridge, and a black leather jacket. The Jeffrey Campbell Everest boots, which are currently on sale at Solestruck, will complement this outfit perfectly.
Saturday 20th April
It’s time to celebrate, since there will finally be some sun on Saturday, together with a few clouds. With highs of 14 degrees, this Gat Rimon dropped back hem dress from Zalando is perfect for this kind of weather. Simply pair with your favourite cut-out boots or brogues, and finish off the look by wearing a denim jacket with rolled-up sleeves. This one from Forever 21 is an option.
Sunday 21st April
Sunday’s outfit is tailored for a laid-back day. Since the weather will be cloudy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon, we want to be as comfty as possible. We therefore chose a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and paired it with this I Like Cats sweatshirt from Burger and Friends. Oh yes, we are quite cat obsessed. To keep with the cat theme, we couldn’t resist these cute kitten stud earring from Etsy. To finish off the laid-back look, simply wear your favourite pair of trainers – a pair of black Vans is our choice.
