Monday 10th June – Sunday 16th June
From wind to rain to sun, at the minute the weather couldn’t be any more spontaneous. One day we’re at the beach wearing our cutest Wildfox bikini and the next we’re running to find shelter wrapped up warm in a Kenneth Cole coat. Who can keep up? We sure can’t!
But hopefully, this week’s Fashion Forecast will provide you a little sanity and help you answer those dreaded weather related questions which corrupt your thoughts whilst getting ready in the morning. The classic “will I need a coat?” will soon become a problem of the past because our weekly feature tells you the upcoming weather forecast and gives you some ideas on suitable outfit choices.
With sunny spells with highs of 19 there’s nothing stopping you from wearing a cute summer skirt and crop top on Monday. We love this Purple Aztec Miniskirt and reckon it goes perfectly with this 90s style crop tee from Mango. Available to buy from Fashion Union, the skirt retails at a mere £12.00 where as the crop top has a slightly dearer price tag of £18.00. As for accessories, nothing screams summer more than a statement fedora hat – like this one from Miss Selfridge. You can carry on the edgy boho theme with Topshop’s Aztec Belt and a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Argo sandals.
Tuesday 11th June
The sunny weather is said to continue on Tuesday! With highs of 20, we recommend you wear MinkPink’s Ashbury Sundress. The dress features a vibrant sunflower print which is sure to turn heads. For the ultimate summer get-up, style the outfit with a Swell‘s tan fedora and Modcloth’s very reasonably priced Prairie Sandals. Finally finish off the look by accessorising with this Be-Jewelled cuff from John Lewis and Barney‘s Turquoise Miki Ring.
Wednesday 12th June
Despite Wednesday being full of rain, we’re making sure we stay in a good mood by wearing an outfit which well and truly supports the saying ‘flower power’. This Daisy Jumper puts a smile on our face for two reasons – the first being it’s super stylish and the second being it’s super affordable priced at £9.99. Wear the jumper with a pair of boyfriend style ripped jeans, like this these ones from Bardot, to draw upon this season’s 90s grunge trend. Complete the look by adding a pair of classic Dr Martens and matching Betsey Johnson satchel.
Thursday 13th June
There’s nothing stopping you from wearing your favourite t-shirt and skirt combo on Thursday as we’re back in business with sunny spells and highs of 21. We believe that every girl should have a statement Wildfox piece in their wardrobe and this Teenage Mess tee is the perfect addition. Available to buy from Harrods, the quirky tee can be styled up or styled down. For a day time look why not wear it with this Hotline Skater Skirt and a quirky pair of floral boots that can be bought from ASOS.
Friday 14th June
It’s Friday night and you’ll probably be dancing the night away in your favourite club, so whats the point of worrying about the weather? Nothing can beat ‘The LBD’ and it’s a crime for any fashionista to not own one. Channel your inner Posh Spice with this affordable number from Tally Weijl, priced at £29.95. Team it up with a pair of black pumps and an eye-catching necklace and you’re ready to rock the town.
Saturday 15th June
On Saturday there will be clouds and showers so it’s best to layer up. Why not wear UNIF’s Penny Jumper with this Snapbacks & Cats tee to be the talk of the town. As for other layers, opt for a beanie, like this ASOS one, and an infamous pair of Converse.
Sunday 16th June
With highs of 22Sunday is said to be the hottest day of the week, so what’s stopping you from going for a dip in the pool? Whether it’s in your back garden or at a local leisure center you can look cute in this Navy Stripe Bikini from Fashion Union – priced at £16.00. Every true fashionista matches her flip flops to her swimwear, and you can do just that by wearing these ‘must haves’ from Fat Face. If sunbathing is more your thing, wear these super cute Sunflower Shorts from Joyrich and these quirky sunglasses from H&M to look equally as stylish whilst catching the rays.
