Al Pacino has played his fair share of iconic, notorious and colorful characters over the years, from the violent drug cartel leader Tony Montano in Brian De Palma’s Scarface, to the calm but ruthless mob boss, Michael Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather trilogy. There is no single role which he appears unable to make his own, and one of the many rewards from taking on these roles, is that he has been given some of the most memorable lines in film.
For us at HTF, a great line in a film is not a line which is only applicable to said film, but a line which can be easily associated with everyday lives and events, and for us, that is what makes the following ten lines from Pacino, so great.
