Wife Club 005 – Kimbra

Kimbra was brought to my attention recently by a friend of mine. She was performing on a sessions video (see below) for a song from her most recent album. Most people however, will know her from her cameo in the ever popular ‘Someone I Used To Know’ by Gotye.
The first thing that came to my attention with Kimbra was her dress and make up. It reminded me of the get up of ‘Peggy Carter’ played by ‘Hayley Atwell’ in Captain America. That super sexy red dress reminiscent of what it was like to be a real woman back in the 40’s, not running around the job centre in reebok trackies picking up the next £50 which would in turn be spent on a 12 pack of Richmonds.
After doing more research I found out she was only 21 years old, it kind of upset me a bit because I know in the next few years she’s going to end up dating some heart throb from an arty french film, or maybe the complete opposite and become super famous and date Sir George Cloon Dog (the first older man I could think of). Her future is unknown to me. What I can confirm is her position in wife club. If you carry yourself with that much class and dignity (can’t wait for the first leaked pics of her) you’re only ending up in one place. Not to mention the fact she is genuinely insanely talented, has a mad vocal range and is a fantastic songwriter to match. Welcome to Wife Club K.Dizzle
