Breakfast Face

You’ll need:

  • Handful of organic oats
  • Tablespoon of honey
  • One ripe banana

Sounds weird, looks weird… works like a charm! This banana and oat face mask gently exfoliates the skin to remove any dead skin cells without being too abrasive. The vitamin A in the banana can help to get rid of blemishes and dark spots in the skin and the potassium content can also help to hydrate your skin. Bananas aren’t just a breakfast food! The honey is also antibacterial, so any dirt and grime will be blitzed away. Simply mix all of the ingredients together and leave on the face for 10-15 minutes for soft, clean skin.

Coconut Clay Skin Cocktail

You’ll need:

  • Half a teaspoon of white Kaolin Clay (super cheap on Amazon!)
  • One teaspoon of organic coconut oil, melted
  • 3-4 strawberries

This face cocktail is a must for acne-prone skin! The Kaolin clay will draw out any impurities in the skin quickly and effectively. Strawberries contain salicylic acid, which will unclog your pores and remove dead skin cells, whilst the coconut oil will restore moisture and help to rebalance the skin. Just mash the strawberries and then add the clay and coconut oil. Leave on the face for no more than 10 minutes. You’ll feel squeaky clean after this one!

Aloe and Avo Hydration Mask

You will need:

  • Half an avocado, mashed
  • Chunk of fresh aloe vera OR organic aloe vera gel

Avocado isn’t just for toast and Instagram likes, you know. When paired together, aloe vera gel and mashed avocado work like a dream on dry skin. Aloe vera is very soothing, so it’s great for dry, chapped or sensitive skins, with the added bonus of helping to heal any red marks and soothe any sore areas on your face. Avocado is extremely hydrating and leaves the skin feeling beautifully supple. All you have to do is mash all the products together and leave on the face for up to 20 minutes.
