Artist: Altered Sky
: Stop And Live
Release Date: Out Now

Scottish 5 piece Altered Sky play pop-punk, with lots of harmonies, melody and great songs. ‘Stop And Live’ is the bands second EP and the EP release follows single ‘Where I Belong’ which was released in November.

Opening track ‘Where I Belong’ feels very familiar and I can work out why. There is definitely a hint of older Avril Lavigne in vocalist Ana Nowosielska’s voice.
Traitor In Me’ starts very much like ‘Paint You Wings’ by All Time Low but by the chorus we get elements of Ana’s vocals that are very similar to how Hayley Williams’ vocals used to be.

Decay’ is also a cool track, but it does feel like its been taken off Riot! by Paramore. Ana’s vocals are great and the guitar solo is good and really gets Neil Ramsay and Rich Passe’s skill across. And the final track ‘Live for It’ is a powerful number that really closes the EP in style. If you’re a fan of Avril Lavigne, Paramore, All Time Low or We Are The In Crowd then Altered Sky are the band for you!
