Scouting For Girls – 4/5
You’d be forgiven for forgetting Scouting For Girls were even still a band, they released a new album two years ago but no one really remembers ‘The Light Between Us’ do they?! But this doesn’t matter when the band have some of the funnest sing-a-long tracks such as ‘James Bond’, ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘This Ain’t A Long Song’.
Frontman Roy was on true form, bonding around the stage like a tiger running from his guitar to his piano to sing the “saddest song” Scouting For Girls have. Wracking our brains we can’t think of Scouting For Girls writing anything sob worthy, but then Roy begins the opening sequence to ‘Michaela Strachan’ and the audience join in on the sing-a-long with smiles on their faces.
Scouting For Girls have the same enjoyment and enthusiasm as they had seven years ago when their debut album that spawned ‘She’s So Lovely’ came out: and I don’t think ‘She’s So Lovely’ will ever get boring to scream along to.
