Boston Manor have made it near impossible for music fans to not know their name. Having been on what feels like every single tour that hits the UK, supporting the likes of Moose Blood, As It Is and Knuckle Puck, the quintet have easily made the stage their home. So obviously this time around, when it was time to embark on their own headline tour across Europe and the UK, no one can really be surprised to see a handful of shows selling out.
Boston Manor‘s successful run on this tour made its final stop at a sold out Boston Music Rooms in London, a stellar performance that truly felt like the icing on top of the cake. Anyone that’s ever been to a Boston Manor gig will know energy levels are high from start to finish, there is no way of standing by watching idly, and the chance of leaving the venue sweaty and exhausted is at an all time high.
With the triumph that is their debut album Be Nothing, it comes as no surprise that a huge chunk of the setlist consisted of tracks off the recent release, from bolstering on stage on opening track ‘Burn You Up’ to the absolute bangers that are tracks like ‘Lead Feet’ and ‘Cu’. But of course, previous EPs should not be discredited with appearances from the likes of ‘Driftwood’ and the ever so fitting set closer ‘Trapped Nerve’ are a testament to how much the band have grown, both stylistically and now in their live performance.
Boston Manor are not a band to miss when they come rolling around your town, which with their busy tour schedules, there is a pretty big chance of that happening. They’re easily one of the most exciting UK bands at the moment with an explosive live show to boot.
