Five Finger Death Punch have released the music video for their brand new single ‘My Nemesis‘, which is the third single taken from the band’s latest album Got Your Six.

1) It’s not short on emotion
The video shows us a vulnerable side of the song, featuring aspects of grief, confusion and desperation within the various stories it follows. From physical abuse to drug dependance, ‘My Nemesis’ explores the different ways in which everyone faces their own personal demons, and it does it in a very honest, painful way.
2) It’s sending out an important message
The song and video are all about raising awareness when it comes to overcoming difficulties and facing up to your struggles. Since its release, the band have been urging fans to share stories of their own nemesis on social media, using the message “#MyNemesis is _____ and I will #OVERCOME”. The idea is for fans to support each other and find solace in the new release.
3) It tells a beautiful story
Although sometimes hard to watch, the stories between a young son and his abusive father, a daughter’s struggle with her mother’s drug abuse, and a father’s relationship with his troublesome teenage son are played out excellently in the video, portraying such ugly stories in such a beautiful way, with a song to match.
