Being As An Ocean just released a belter of a track. It’s called ‘OK’, and the single’s rich, adventurous tone was far from what we expected. The release coincides with their US tour supporting The Amity Affliction, and comes just in time for a run of UK dates later this year.
‘OK’ is a powerful narrative of the band’s past five years; it connects each member’s experiences together in a volatile, honest sound.
“This song is about several important events in each of our lives,” the band explain of the track. “It really blends things that have happened to every one of us over the past five years into a single, beautiful story that’s uniquely us”.
”This song musically embodies the fact that we don’t follow anyone else’s trends, and we never let anyone tell us how to write our music. We are who we are.”
If this is the direction Being As An Ocean are heading in with their music, we can’t wait to see what they come out with next.
You can listen to the track below.
Being As An Ocean will tour the UK and EU this November with Burning Down Alaska, Capsize, and Casey.
