British hardcore punks Gallows are hitting back at the rock industry with their upcoming 4th studio album, Desolation Sounds which is to be released through their own label Venn and also Play It Again Sam records on April 13th.
Gallows shared a documentary via their YouTube channel yesterday which sheds a little light on the plans for the new album. When asked about the new record, guitarist and founding member Laurent ‘Lags’ Banard stated: “It is the record I’ve dreamt about making.”
“I think the album sounds really fearless, he added. “It’s the sound of a band that’s comfortable with playing music together, rather than trying to fit into a certain scene or zeitgeist or any preconceived notion of what the band should be. We just ignored the outside music world and made an album that felt good in out guts.”
Gallows also announced they’ll be hitting the road again this year along side Baby Godzilla and Cities Will Burn. The tour will take place in May and is sure to be one you won’t want to miss. We’ll leave the dates below along with the Gallows documentary, Desolation Sounds Part One.
