Scott Weiland, former front man of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver was found dead last night on his tour bus.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Weiland was found by his tour manager at 9pm. The cause of death remains uncertain. It is unknown whether the influence of drugs or alcohol were involved, given his constant struggles in the past against these vices.
He was found just before The Wildabouts were due to perform on stage in Bloomington, Minnesota. Their tour was in support of their latest album, Blaster, which was released in 2014.
