Whilst us UK lot were rocking out to Slipknot at Download Festival last night, Dave Grohl was busy being a hero over in Gothenburg, Sweden. During Foo Fighters’ second song of the night, Grohl dramatically fell off stage. Ouch!
In a video uploaded by a fan in the crowd, Grohl says: “I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke my leg – you have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters gotta come back and finish the show, but right now, I’m going to go to the hospital.”
The Foo’s frontman returned a mere 15 minutes later to finish the concert as promised – all in a cast no less. Take a look at the aftermath below!
If that wasn’t enough, the band took to social media after the show to post a photo of Grohl’s leg x-ray. If that’s not rock n’ roll, then we don’t know what is.
