Coheed and Cambria have announced their return to the UK in support of the release of their eighth studio album The Color Before The Sun. The band will be playing three special shows with support from Glassjaw and Crooks. Dates are as follows:
Sunday 31st January – Cardiff Uni Great Hall
Monday 1st February – Manchester O2 Ritz
Tuesday 2nd February – London O2 Forum
The Color Before The Sun serves as Coheed and Cambria‘s first non-conceptual release. Claudio Sanchez shares: “I kind of want people to know that Coheed can write that sort of record,” explaining the album’s departure from their previous concept of The Amory Wars saga. “I’ve always said in the past that there’s never been a limitation on the band. It makes no sense to me to draw a line in the sand and never cross it.”
