Babymetal have just announced a brand new 2015 world tour! Well… We say it’s a world tour… With 6 countries and only 8 shows, it’s as much of a world tour as Major League Baseball’s world series, but we won’t complain… Yet.

Babymetal took the world by storm when they went viral through a series of YouTube videos, and since then have played all around the world, and even had a slot at 2014’s Sonisphere Festival, to great support from the British crowd.

Sadly though, this so called “world tour” isn’t hitting British soil this time around, instead starting off in Mexico, the j-pop, metal mix will then fly over to Canada, before a couple of days in the US, Germany, Austria and finally in their home country of Japan, but no Britain, what’s up with that one? Regardless, you’ll more than likely see a British date added soon enough, considering how well their two dates in London last year were received.

Interestingly though, and this is pure speculation on behalf of everyone, like ourselves, who enjoy reading into things far too much, it looks as if Babymetal will be sporting a brand new look. The band are no strangers to the theatrics, their live show is teeming full of dance moved, costumes and all around, standard, Japanese psychotic acid trips. This time though, Babymetal seem to be taking a leaf out of Christopher Nolan’s book with a Dark Knight look. Don’t just take our word for it, check it out below. Let’s just hope the Dark Knights return to the UK some time this year.
