Camping at music festivals can sometimes make your experience a whole lot more enjoyable. However there’s no denying most of the time you miss a comfortable bed and somewhere to charge your phone – right?
Well, your prayers might soon be answered with a new honeycomb structure called, B-AND-BEE (perfectly named). Two Belgian designer firms, Compaan and Labeur, had the vision of creating an efficient type of campsite. By stacking sleeping pods together like a honeycomb, the site should take up less space and provides a lot more comfort. The pods have enough room for a king-size bed and can also supply power.
The designer firms tested the pods last summer and plan to start working with festivals this year with the view of attendees renting them out over the weekend.
Could you see you and your friends in these sleeps pods at Glastonbury or Download Festival? Flick through the images below to see how they built this B-AND-BEE (we really do love a good pun).
