Despite the Grand Hustle leader just being released from prison on the 29th September 2011, the new year starts with the ATL ‘King‘ dropping a new mixtape on the 1st January 2012,

Despite this, T.I.’s music hasn’t been hiding and througout the year has had hits with ‘Pyro’ and ‘Flexxin’, remix’s of Jay-Z & Kanye’s ‘N**** In Paris’ & Lil Wayne & Drake’s ‘She Will’, as well as the King recently having a verse on the Young Jeezy’s ‘F.A.M.E’ single.

The new mixtape ‘F*ck Da City Up’ is promotion for his new album ‘Trouble Man‘. TIP has released two trailers, both less than a minute, to create a buzz and give a short insight to the style of the mixtape, giving the impression that he’s bringing back the sounds from his roots, as shown by the first trailer below…

The second trailer shows T.I. teaming up with the Hip Hop god Dr. Dre as they are in the lab working on ‘F*ck Da City Up’, and once again, gives an insight to the feel and sound of the mixtape..
