Its been a big year for Nas, after celebrating the 20th anniversary of Illmatic earlier this year Nas has announced the release date for a compilation album for his record label Mass Appeal which will be released on the 2nd September. After officially launching the label last May, the Hip Hop legend spoke about his excitement regarding Mass Appeal.
“I’m excited to be a part of creating and supporting future careers and legacy artists, promoting love and finding new genius to help the world,” he said in a press release. “I’m going to be as involved as I need to be, but I also want to be respectful of the art and give artists the space they need to grow and become themselves.”
Nas also announced that he would be dropping the album to showcase his signees talents including Boldy James, Fashawn and Bishop Nehru. Alongside features from Nas himself the album will also feature contributions from A$AP Mob, Pusha T, Mac Miller and Future.
