Shoe brand Lakai Limited Footwear are collaborating with Earl Sweatshirt. Set up by skateboarders Mike Carroll, Rick Howard and movie director Spike Jonze in 1999, the venture sees Earl design a limited edition range of apparel and footwear for the brand.
Available to buy in the UK later this month, the designs place emphasis on the patterns found in Odd Future’s iconic ‘Doughnut’ graphic. When it came to creating pieces for the line, Earl even used his own experience skateboarding – with two all-canvas colours shoes for ‘on the stage’ and two all-suede colours for ‘on the board’ use.
